Content studio: suggestions, blog, page updates and publishing

Get title/meta suggestions from Search Console opportunities, write blog posts with AI, expand existing pages and publish to WordPress, the Site API, GitHub or Shopify.

Open this screen in the panel

The Content & AI page brings all content work into one place: Suggestions proposes titles, meta descriptions and H1s for existing pages, Blog writes new posts, Page update expands a page you already have, and Calendar schedules publishing. The Brand profile and E-E-A-T tabs feed tone and quality into everything you write.

Prerequisites

  • An AI provider must be connected: Integrations → AI. Details: Connect AI models.
  • Suggestions needs the site's Search Console property connected.
  • Automatic publishing needs at least one channel: the Site API, the WordPress plugin, a GitHub repository or Shopify. You connect channels on the site's Fix channels tab.
  • Blog, Calendar and Page update work on a single site, so pick one at the top.

Get title and meta suggestions

  1. On the Suggestions tab, pick the site. The Opportunities list comes straight from Search Console data, no AI needed: Low CTR, Near page one and Missing meta.
  2. Click Generate suggestions at the top right. The selected model writes a title, meta description and H1 for each opportunity. They show up in the list within 1–2 minutes.
  3. Compare Current with Suggestion on each card, then pick one:
    • Apply via PR: the model makes the change in the site's GitHub repository and opens a PR.
    • Apply via Pixel: applies the values right away as SEOAsist Pixel rules. No repository needed.
    • Applied: mark it if you made the change yourself.
    • Dismiss: close the suggestion.

Write a blog post

  1. On the Blog tab, choose how many ideas you want (4, 8 or 12). Optionally add an extra brief such as a campaign or season, then click Generate topics. Ideas come from Search Console queries, competitor gaps and tracked keywords. If you have your own idea, use New idea and enter a title, target keywords and an angle.
  2. On an idea card, click Write, pick a model, tick generate image if you want a featured image, and click Start. The article is ready in 1–3 minutes.
  3. Click Open to go to the editor. You can edit the title, slug, meta title, meta description, excerpt, HTML content, FAQ, featured image and YouTube video. Click Save after you make changes.
  4. The E-E-A-T score in the side panel is built from 12 checks. Recompute scores your edits without saving them.
  5. Want a different result? Add instructions and click Rewrite.
tip

Enter an author name on the Brand profile tab. It goes into the article and the schema, and it's what the Author check in E-E-A-T looks for.

Publish

  1. Below the editor, pick a channel from the Channel list. Channels that aren't set up show “not connected”.
  2. For WordPress and the Site API, choose WordPress draft or Publish live.
  3. Click Publish. The result shows on the same page within a few seconds.
ChannelWhat happens
Site API (custom site)The content goes straight to your site. Your site's app stores it and returns the URL. The Site API must be connected and must offer the content capability.
WordPressThe plugin creates the post, with the featured image, tags, meta description and JSON-LD.
GitHub PRThe model finds the repository's content layout, adds the post in the same format and opens a PR. Once the PR is opened, the item counts as published.
ShopifyThe post is created as an article on the store's first blog.
Manual URLOnly marks the item as published. You can add the live URL if you like.

To publish later, pick a date in the editor and click Approve. The approved post is published that day at 07:00 UTC. To set up the Site API, see Connect the Site API.

Expand an existing page

  1. On the Page update tab, enter a URL in the Expand a page form, or pick one from the latest crawl.
  2. Write instructions (e.g. “add a pricing section, add an FAQ”) and click Write update.
  3. The model expands the page and keeps the existing facts. In the editor you'll see the Original and new content comparison and a list of the model's changes.
  4. When you publish to WordPress, the post is matched by URL and its content is replaced. The original is kept as a backup, and Roll back writes it back to WordPress.

Calendar and weekly automation

  1. The Calendar tab shows scheduled and published content by month. In Unscheduled drafts, Plan this week puts a post on the first free day of the current week (one post per day).
  2. On the Weekly automation card, turn the switch on, set Posts per week (1–7), the Publish mode and the Channel, then click Save.
  3. The weekly job runs on Tuesdays at 05:00 UTC. It generates ideas, writes the posts and sends them to the channel. With no channel, posts wait in review.
warning

In Publish live mode, posts written by the automation go live without approval. Run it in draft mode for a few weeks first and review the output.

Verify

  • Card status moves from Writing to Draft to Published. If something goes wrong you'll see Failed, and the editor shows the reason.
  • Published posts get an Open published content link. On the GitHub channel you'll also see Open PR.

FAQ

Why is “Generate suggestions” disabled?

You may not have picked a site, connected the Search Console property or added an AI provider. Hover over the button to see the reason.

Why wasn't an image generated?

Image generation needs an OpenAI or Gemini key. Add one on Integrations → AI.

Why does the Site API channel say “not connected”?

The channel stays off if the Site API isn't connected or your site's app doesn't offer the content capability. To troubleshoot: Site API connection problems.

How many posts can I generate per month?

Your monthly content quota depends on your plan: Plans and quotas.
