Knowledge sources: posts written from your approved documents
Add PDF, Word, Markdown, text files or web pages to a site under Content › Settings; SEOAsist writes posts taking technical claims only from these sources, verifies numbers against them and scores “Based on approved sources” in E-E-A-T.
Open this screen in the panelKnowledge sources keep posts accurate on specialist topics. You add the documents you approve to the site; when SEOAsist writes a post it finds the sections that fit the topic and takes technical claims, numbers, product and feature names only from these sources.
Adding a source
- Open Content › Settings.
- In the Knowledge sources card pick a method:
- File: PDF, DOCX (Word), Markdown or TXT; up to 10 MB.
- Link: a web page address; the page's main text is taken.
- Text: paste an approved text (at least 40 characters).
- The source is split into sections; the list shows how many.
The file itself is not stored, only its text, in sections. Scanned (image) PDFs have no text layer and cannot be added.
How posts use them
- Writing: when a new post is written, the sections that best fit its title and target keywords are given to the model. It takes technical details only from them; when a source lacks a detail, it does not invent one and stays general.
- Verification: numbers and claims in the post come with “Verify” markers. Markers whose text appears in a source are resolved automatically; the rest stay marked for you to check. Nothing is deleted automatically.
- Editor: a “Written from” line above the post shows which documents were used.
Effect on E-E-A-T
When the site has at least one source, the Expertise pillar gets the Based on approved sources check: a post drawn from two or more sources gets full points, one source partial points. Sites without sources are not scored on it, so nobody is penalised.
