Costs: AI allowance, your own keys and DataForSEO

Some things in SEOAsist are included in your plan, and some you pay for through your own accounts. This page explains what is paid where and how quotas are counted. You can always see your current usage in the Usage section of Billing.

#Is SEOAsist AI paid?

No, it's included in your plan. Every plan comes with a monthly call allowance (see the table). You don't pay extra for it and you don't need a key.

#How is the AI allowance counted?

Only successful SEOAsist AI calls count. Failed calls don't use up the allowance. It resets at the start of every month. You can see what's left on the SEOAsist AI (included in your plan) card under Integrations → AI.

#What happens when the AI allowance runs out?

If you have your own key, jobs switch to it. Without one, AI jobs wait and you see “This month's SEOAsist AI allowance is used up”. You can upgrade the plan or add your own key.

#Who pays when I use my own AI key?

The provider (Anthropic, OpenAI, Gemini and so on) charges your account directly. SEOAsist doesn't charge for these calls and doesn't apply an allowance limit. Track your spending under Last 30 days spend on the AI page.

#Is the AI cost in the panel an exact bill?

No, it's an estimate. It's calculated from the prices in the Models table (USD per 1M tokens). Models with unknown prices aren't included in the total. For the exact amount, check your provider's invoice.

#Who pays for DataForSEO?

You do. DataForSEO is connected with your own account, and every call is billed to your DataForSEO balance. Keyword research and rank tracking, Competitors and Backlinks use this connection. Your balance is shown on the DataForSEO card under Integrations.

#How much DataForSEO does rank tracking use?

Every tracked keyword is checked once a day. Each check is billed to your balance at DataForSEO's prices. The number of keywords you can track depends on your plan; untrack a keyword and its daily check stops too.

#How is the page quota counted?

It's the total number of pages crawled across all your sites in the month. When it's used up you can't start new crawls by hand; the quota resets at the start of the month. The Monthly crawl quota meter in the left menu shows where you stand.

#How many pages does one crawl cover?

Up to the site's Crawl page limit. The server-side cap is 500 pages.

#What is a workspace's AI budget?

Each workspace has a Weekly AI budget (USD). When the site's AI spend for the week passes it, AI tasks move to Waiting for budget and are rescheduled in the new week.

#Do Google Places and PageSpeed cost anything?

The business finder runs on a Places API (New) key from your own Google Cloud project. Google has a monthly free quota, after which usage is billed. PageSpeed Insights works without a key.

#What happens when my plan ends?

When the plan expires, your account keeps working with the Free plan's limits. Your data isn't deleted.

#Is yearly billing cheaper?

Yes. The yearly price is 10 times the monthly price. Prices are USD-based and shown at the TCMB daily rate. See Billing for current prices.
