Generate an AI prompt and review the AI's answer
Hand tasks to ChatGPT, Claude or your developer with a ready-made prompt, paste the answer back to see what happened to each task, and apply the decisions in one click.
Some fixes you may want to do yourself, with an AI assistant or through a developer. Generate AI prompt turns the tasks you pick into a paste-ready brief with the site context, affected URLs, rules and the expected answer format. In step two of the same dialog you paste the assistant's reply back; SEOAsist works out what happened to each task and records your decisions in the panel.

Building a prompt does not call an AI model and uses no quota: it is instant and works without any AI key. Reviewing the answer in step two does use an AI model.
Step 1: Copy the prompt
- Click Generate AI prompt (or AI prompt for all) on the page you are working on.
- The AI prompt ready (n tasks) dialog opens on the 1 · Copy the prompt tab.
- Click Copy, or press Ctrl+C while the text is selected.
- Give the text to an assistant such as ChatGPT, Claude or Cursor, or send it to your developer.
The prompt includes the site URL, language, stack (WordPress, Shopify, GitHub repository), health score, the numbered tasks, issue codes and affected URLs. It ends by asking the assistant to report, per task, what it did, which file or page it changed, the new values and how to verify.
The prompt dialog opened from a column's ⋯ menu is copy-only. If you want to review the answer afterwards, open the same tasks from the card or the button above the board.
Step 2: Paste the AI answer
- When the assistant is done, open the same dialog again and switch to 2 · Paste the AI answer.
- Paste the full reply into the box. Very short answers are rejected.
- Click Review the answer.
Each task gets a verdict, a one-line summary and, where given, the assistant's Reason and a What you need to do list.
| Verdict | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Done | The assistant says it made the change (or it was already fixed). |
| Intentional / correct | The assistant changed nothing because the current state is deliberate and correct for SEO (for example noindex on empty categories). |
| Needs your decision | The assistant needs a decision, content, or work only the site owner can do. |
| Not done | Skipped or failed without a valid reason. |
| Unclear | The answer does not mention the task. |
Apply the decisions
Under each task you choose an action; SEOAsist pre-selects one based on the verdict:
- Mark as done: closes the task and verifies the fix on the next crawl. Default for Done.
- Accept as intentional: ignores this issue for these URLs, so the score and audit stop counting it. Only shown when the task is tied to an audit issue; default for Intentional / correct.
- Leave open: no change, the task stays open. Default for the other verdicts.
- Change the action for any task if needed.
- Click Apply decisions. A message tells you how many issues were accepted as intentional and how many tasks were closed.
- To try a different reply, use Paste another answer.
Issues you accept as intentional go to the accepted list on the Technical Audit page, where you can undo them. See Accept as intentional and auto-fix.
The verification crawl
For each site with tasks you marked as done, a verification crawl is queued right away, unless a crawl is already running there. When it finishes, task cards tied to an audit issue show Verified · gone in the crawl or Still present · n URLs. The review summary is also kept on the card. For what the badges mean, see Tasks, approvals and verification.
Check that it worked
- Workspace task cards show the review summary (for example "Done: …") and a verification badge.
- On the Technical Audit page, the issues you accepted are no longer counted.
FAQ
What language is the prompt in?
Your organization's panel language. The review summaries and next steps are written in the same language.
Why can't I apply the decisions?
Applying decisions needs a role with edit rights. With view-only access you can still generate prompts and review answers, but not write the results to the panel.
The review fails. What should I do?
The review uses an AI model. If your included AI quota is used up or the model returns an error, see AI errors, or add your own AI key.
