Reports: shareable reports, the weekly e-mail and white label

How to create a shareable SEO report for one site or the whole portfolio, send the weekly report to recipients automatically, and put your own brand on reports.

Open this screen in the panel

The Reports page produces shareable reports that bring traffic, queries, ranking distribution, technical issues, crawls and auto-fixes together on one page. You can create a report whenever you like, or have one produced and e-mailed every week.

Before you start

  • Creating a report requires the Owner, Admin or Member role.
  • Weekly report settings and white label require the Owner or Admin role.

Create a report now

  1. Open Reports. The Create report button on Overview brings you here too.
  2. In the Create report card, pick a site or Whole portfolio in the first list.
  3. Pick the period: Last 7 days, Last 28 days or Last 90 days.
  4. To e-mail the report link as well, tick E-mail to recipients.
  5. Press Create. After “Report ready.” an Open report link appears.

E-mail to recipients sends to the weekly report recipient list below. If the list is empty, the box is disabled.

Switch on the weekly report

  1. In the Weekly report card on the same page, enter addresses in Recipients (comma separated).
  2. Tick Generate and send the weekly report every Monday at 09:30.
  3. Press Save; you'll see “Report settings saved.”

Every Monday a portfolio report and a separate report per site are produced, covering the last 7 days. Recipients get one e-mail with links to the reports. E-mails are written in the organization language, which you can change on Settings → Organization.

note

The weekly report choice in the setup wizard fills in the recipient list. To make sure sending is switched on, check that this box is ticked.

Manage past reports

The Past reports table shows each report's scope, period, source (Weekly or Manual), who it was e-mailed to and its date.

  • Copy: copies the report link to your clipboard.
  • Open: opens the report in a new tab. For a PDF, open the report and choose “Save as PDF” in the browser's print dialog.
  • Delete: deletes the report. The shared link stops working.
warning

Report links are public; anyone with the link can see the report without signing in. Delete a report to shut off access.

White label

White label shows your own brand instead of SEOAsist on public reports and weekly e-mails. The settings are saved on every plan but only applied on the Agency plan.

  1. Open Settings → White label.
  2. Enter the Brand name and Accent color.
  3. In Logo URL, paste a PNG or SVG address that starts with https://; the logo appears at 32 px height at the top of the report.
  4. Optionally add a Report footer and tick Hide SEOAsist branding.
  5. Press Save.

If the tab shows the “Agency plan active” label, your settings are being applied to reports.

Check that it worked

  • The new report appears at the top of the Past reports table.
  • If it was e-mailed, the E-mail column lists the recipients.
  • Opening the report link in a private browser window shows the report.

FAQ

I got “E-mail not sent: recipient list is empty”. Why?

E-mail to recipients uses the weekly report recipient list. Enter at least one address in the Weekly report card and save.

The weekly report e-mail isn't arriving. What should I do?

First check that Generate and send the weekly report every Monday at 09:30 is ticked and the recipients are correct. Then look in the spam folder. Full checklist: E-mails not arriving.

What is the difference between a report and the SEO analysis share link?

A report summarises a period: traffic, queries, issues and fixes. The SEO analysis share link shows the scores, findings and the 30/60/90-day plan: SEO analysis.
